This is the original map released by WotC for 4th edition. It was edited to include canon ruins, villages, forts, etc as well as the banners of the merchants houses who control a settlement or have influence there, each of which is a layer that can be enabled or disabled.

Introduction to the Third Edition AT LAST! The Third Edition of the Dark Sun Net Handbook is finally out. This is a collection of the work of many players and DMs for the AD&D campaign setting Dark Sun. I see a net.book as a source of knowledge and inspiration. Therefore I’ve included anything I could. Even if I found something totally unusable I included it because I’m sure that someone will instead love that rule/race/class and find it fundamental for his campaign. I especially like the sections wich have something to do with game mechanics such as the one on tattoos. We all should be less concerned with rules and more with those little things. Nothing in this net.book is official or fundamental, take what you like and discard what you don’t

Hostile Takeover is a direct follow-up to the events of the adventure The Road to Urik. In it, the PCs become embroiled in the machinations of the merchant houses of House Troika and House Vordon during an attack on a House Ianto fort located near Tyr.

This adventure takes place in the city-state of Tyr. It is for 3-5 characters of 6th to 8th level. The adventure uses many NPCs and locations described in the accessories City-State of Tyr and Dune Trader. Though possession of these accessories is not necessary for this adventure, it will help to add background and description to the adventure.
It is free year 12. In the city-state of Tyr, an evil has been growing in the shadows and is ready to emerge to threaten the freedom of the city. A ravenous murderer stalks the Warrens. Many templars and citizens claim Kalak has returned and call for his open worship by all. The free wizards of Tyr work to convert Kalak’s ziggurat into a positive source of light to remove the shadows of evil that linger in the city. A band of heroes must unravel the message from a mysterious woman who pleads for help. If they are too late, a dark shadow will fall across the city and a sorcerer-king will again sit on the throne of Tyr.

This adventure is set in the Warrens of the Athasian City-State of Tyr, amid the chaos immediately following Kalak’s overthrow and demise. It is designed for three to five PCs of third to fifth level, at least two of whom should be rogues, preservers, priests, or psionicists. “Opportunities” works best if used as a sequel to David Cook’s excellent Freedom flip-book module. Note that this is an adventure outline, designed to give DMs ideas. DMs should develop appropriate stats, opponents, NPCs, and encounters. You can find an online version in the Articles section.

This adventure is for 3 to 5 characters of 6th to 8th level for AD&D 2nd edition. The characters, while exploring the ruins of Yaramuke, are captured by a cult that worships the former queen of Yaramuke. The cult’s leader, Murduk, tells the party of their plan to capture Hamanu, and may use magical coercion to convince the party to help them. The party is sent to infiltrate Urik and retrieve a magical decanter to power the magical prisoner created to hold the sorcerer-king.
After reaching Urik, the characters discover the city shut off to the outside world, and the party has to sign up with a devious merchant from House Stel, Sulla. While in his employment the party makes contact with the Veiled Alliance, who helps the party locate the decanter.
With the help from the Veiled Alliance, the party retrieves the decanter from a tower in Hamanu’s palace and flees the city. The party returns to Yaramuke, where Murduk tells the party the truth. The decanter holds Queen Sielba’s soul, and the cult is going to perform a ceremony to return her to life. However, Hamanu follows the characters to Yaramuke with his army and attacks. The party must fight to escape the ruins and the struggle between two sorcerer-monarchs.
