The Burnt World of Athas

The official Dark Sun website

The Pristine Tower Dev Group

Rajaat ruled the Pristine Tower no more. He was taken to the Steeple of Crystals and forced to use its arcane artifacts to make Borys into the Dragon.

About the PTDG

The Pristine Tower Development Group (PTDG) was started in 2020 by Jack Meyer and Adam Cieszlak.

Our mission is to build a harmonious and expansive collection of extended playable Dark Sun content for all editions of D&D based upon canon and popular fanon works of the past several decades. Since our start in December 2020, we have grown into the semi-independent publishing arm of Athas.org.

We are a strictly volunteer collective of writers, editors, game designers, artists, project managers, cartographers, and proofreaders who all share a passion for the Dark Sun setting.

Joining Us

Are you working on a project for Dark Sun and would like support in seeing it to completion? Would you like to be a part of a bigger team and see one of the unfinished projects of Athas.org be completed to a professional standard? Come join us! The only thing we ask of our membership is that they regularly contribute to our work, and help us keep our momentum going.

To find out more, or join us, contact Jack Meyer (@Neujack) or Robert Adducci (@Raddu) on the Arena Forum or Discord.

Current Publications

We regularly publish content ranging from large boxed sets (Dead Lands Boxed Set), to splat books (Scale, Tail, and Claw), to smaller individual gazetteers (The Crimson Sphere), and articles.

Upcoming Publications

To help others be aware of what we’re currently working on, we make our Production Queue a publicly viewable document
