Rajaat ruled the Pristine Tower no more. He was taken to the Steeple of Crystals and forced to use its arcane artifacts to make Borys into the Dragon.
About the PTDG
The Pristine Tower Development Group (PTDG) was started in 2020 by Jack Meyer and Adam Cieszlak.
Our mission is to build a harmonious and expansive collection of extended playable Dark Sun content for all editions of D&D based upon canon and popular fanon works of the past several decades. Since our start in December 2020, we have grown into the semi-independent publishing arm of Athas.org.
We are a strictly volunteer collective of writers, editors, game designers, artists, project managers, cartographers, and proofreaders who all share a passion for the Dark Sun setting.
Joining Us
Are you working on a project for Dark Sun and would like support in seeing it to completion? Would you like to be a part of a bigger team and see one of the unfinished projects of Athas.org be completed to a professional standard?
Come join us!
The only thing we ask of our membership is that they regularly contribute to our work, and help us keep our momentum going.
To find out more, or join us, contact Jack Meyer (@Neujack) or Robert Adducci (@Raddu) on the Arena Forum or Discord.
Lla1 Anattan Promo Cover by Methvezem
Greetings fellow Athasians!
After years of consolidating canon and fanon lore, and working with the Athasian Cartographers Guild to expand the world map, the Pristine Tower Development Group is finally ready to launch our Dark Sun Gazetteer series. Each book details a different distant region of Athas, providing both a compelling narrative as well as an overview of the key features of that region for DMs and lore junkies alike, and everything has been carefully researched to fit with 2e and 2e Revised canon.
For the first book in the series, we are exploring the Anattan Coast. Located beyond the Cerulean Storm on the far side of the Silt Sea, this region has been hinted at many times in lore, and has been mapped and developed by several different cartogophers and writers in our community over the decades. We’ve now consolidated all that amazing work and refined the lore into a single cohesive narrative.
Download our free netbook, join us across the Sea of Silt, and begin your expedition to the distant reaches of Athas today!
In addition to a number of updates and refreshed pieces of art that both books received, Faces of the Forgotten North now also features Encounter Tables, a table of Monsters Ranked by Challenge Rating, and brief mechanical descriptions of several new monsters described in Lost Cities of the Trembling Plains.
Faces Of The Forgotten North by Izhar Ben Yosef
It’s been a while in the works, but the Pristine Tower team is happy to announce the release of our next book: Faces of the Forgotten North!
Written as a companion to Lost Cities of the Trembling Plains, this book gives you all the mechanics, rules, and stats you’ll need to take the lore from Lost Cities and design your own campaigns set in the Forgotten North!
This book is a revision and update of the Faces of the Forgotten North Beta that has been on the site since 2007. This version is nearly 300 pages and includes all new content including additional monsters, expanded text for the stat blocks, a lot of new art, new artifacts, and an expanded Adventure Hooks section!
